Mr. Faiyaz has over 25 years of professional experience in construction materials engineering and special inspection, encompassing both new construction and rehabilitation of existing buildings, as well as large-scale civil and transportation infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, and airports. His diverse project portfolio spans private and public sectors at the municipal, state, and federal levels.
Mr. Faiyaz actively contributes to the advancement of industry standards as a member of several professional organizations and technical committees, including ASTM Committees C09 (Concrete and Concrete Aggregates) and D04 (Road and Paving Materials), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and the International Code Council (ICC).
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Faiyaz is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Florida, and a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM).
